History in Brief

1983
In 1983, Warren and William Knighton were made aware of a need for a device to help prevent a problem now known as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Their first product was a wrist support to help keep the computer users' wrists at the right angle.

1985
In 1985 a new company was born, K & A Manufacturing, Inc. The manufacturing plant in Wausau, Wisconsin, was their first home.

1990
In 1990, the property was purchased to position itself for future expansion. The plant had over 20,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehousing space available.

2004
In 2004, to keep pace with the growth of our products,we built our new 30,000 square foot home in the Weston Industrial Park.

2008
In 2008, a line of office furniture was added to the RightAngle family of products to enhance and expand our market in the office and school industry.

2013
With the release of the NewHeights™ Series 4 in 2013, increased manufacturing and warehouse capabilities was needed. The addition of almost 30,000 square feet will double manufacturing space for a total of nearly 60,000 square feet.
